Our bosses and friends, Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey, have been bringing their unique take on the world to the big and small screen since circa 1990. In an industry where the documentary of yesterday transitions into the reality show of tomorrow (and vice versa), the two have produced some of the most most-watched, cutting-edge programming of the past two decades, and created one of the media world’s most successful independent production companies and distinctive brands, World of Wonder (not to mention this charming bit of internet bling we call The WOW Report). And that’s not just us talking – it’s everyone! They are a fascinating and funny couple of guys who give good chat, and on Monday, November 19, at Cinefamily on Fairfax in Los Angeles, from 7:30 to 9:00PM, they will be chatting with producer Eddie Schmidt about the challenges of running a bi-continent production company; crossing genre boundaries; handling the famous, infamous, and not-so-much; and hosting a pop culture blog with over 300,000 hits per month – hey, that’s us!
