In case you missed it, Madonna is touring this fall following the release of her new album, hitting LA, Chicago and starting off in Brooklyn. Live Nation announced this that the Madame X Tour, will come to three cities with tour dates.
Madonna’s long-time promoter Arthur Fogel says,
“The chance for fans to see Madonna at these venues is incredibly special. We are proud and excited to be able to deliver this ultimate opportunity for her fans.”
Madonna said in a video announcement,
“Madame X is going on tour, a theater tour. I want my fans to experience the magic of a theater. I want to have an intimate experience with my fans, allowing us to vibe with each other.”
But you can’t just buy tickets. You have to submit ticket requests, ending today, Friday, May 10, at madonna.livenation.com. They say tickets range between $60 – $760, but a friend who went to ETC. Tickets to find the great seats, captured this window, showing the resale of 1 orchestra ticket at $18,612 and others in the $5,000 to $11,000 range. (It’s not Madonna making THOSE prices, it’s scalpers, but maybe it shoulda been called the Sugar Daddy Tour, ’cause you gotta have one, or be one, to afford to go!)
By Friday, May 17, fans whose requests have been confirmed will be informed of their ticket allocation and corresponding show information.
I’d love to see her. A friend asked me if I’d pay $1500 to see her in concert and I said that for that kind of money, I want champagne, dinner, a show AND a happy ending.
