This morning at 11:30AM, Dennis Hopper (looking frail but in very good spirits) received his star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Here's a look at the ceremony, during which Viggo Mortensen read an original poem dedicated to Hopper, producer Mark Canton (Hopper's close friend) declared him "the coolest guy on the planet," Jack Nicholson looked on approvingly from the audience, and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce declared the day a holiday in Dennis Hopper's name.
