“Dancing with the Devil,” Demi Lovato‘s new video, is an unflinching artistic representation of themes she’s exploring in the series of the same name.
If you haven’t seen the documentary series, the video is basically the summary of the show. It shows her descent into drug and alcohol use, her sexual assault by her dealer, and finally the overdose that nearly killed her. It also shows her assistant finding her and her friends and family supporting her as she recovered.
If you or someone you know is in need of support, it’s OK to ask for help.
