Oh, thank God.
A source close to Demi Lovato tells People magazine that the singer is now “stable” after her apparent heroin overdose this morning.
TMZ reporting that paramedics found Demi unconscious when they arrived “responded to a medical emergency at the 8000 block of Laurel View Dr. at 11:40 a.m.”
1:28 PM PT — Law enforcement sources tell us Demi was treated with Narcan — an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses — at her home. We’ve confirmed the OD occurred at her house in the Hollywood Hills.
Demi was out last night celebrating a friend’s birthday in West Hollywood, and seemed happy in Instagram pics.
She also just performed on Sunday at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles with Iggy Azalea.
According to TMZ: She was scheduled to go on the road this week for an upcoming show in Atlantic City, but our sources say she’s been struggling.
Really hoping she has a speedy recovery and gets the help she needs.
UPDATE, 3:13 PM PT — Demi’s aunt, Kerissa Dunn, posted on social media that Demi is “awake and responsive.”
