Simply put, Anthony Casey died after he fell 60 feet from a roof in the Chelsea section of London. Not so simply put, the 38-year-old had five times the fatal level of cocaine in his body after a five-man all-night “gay orgy” at the home of German aristocrat Count Gottfried von Bismarck (pictured). And quite an orgy it must have been. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the penthouse floor covered in a rubber tarpaulin, which in turn was covered in towels, lubes, dildoes, paddles, a padlock, vodka bottles, and buckets filled with sex toys. Mirrors were propped up in three corners of the room. Blood tests showed no alcohol in Casey’s body, but did indicate 5.4 milligrams of cocaine. “Cocaine is very unpredictable,” said a consulting pathologist. “People can survive astronomically high levels or can die from small levels.” The coroner ruled the death a misadventure. “Many things most would consider unusual or bizarre were conducted by consenting adults in private that night,” he said.
