Somehow, the WOW Report came across these snippets of email exchange between the Today show’s most reluctantly avid viewers, Ann Curry hater Clancy Cavnar and Ann Curry love-hater Randy Barbato:

CLANCY (yesterday): Ann curry interviewing Miss USA, goading her to cry, then saying I see the tremble in your voice, then pestering her for a statement to the Mexicans who booed her, she finally said “I have nothing to say to them” Ann you will have to settle for that.

RANDY (today): She’s a total pig – its not even like i want to hear “The Hoff” talk – but can she let anyone speak? She’s a pig.

CLANCY (today): Its unbearable to watch her. Why do they keep giving her interviews? She is a terrible interviewer, like someone from 8th grade.

“I gotta tell you”…

“david,,,get well” and shakes his hand. what a patronizing c**t.

RANDY (today): Did you see her interview BINDI????

CLANCY (today): You know i started to watch the bindi interview and then i realized that i could CHANGE THE CHANNEL, once i heard her squeal in the very beginning some incoherent blather that she could only get away with doing to a child. oh everything is so exciting!!! bindi is more sophisticated than anne, yet both share a plastic quality. but why should i watch ann just to hate her? i already know she makes me feel shame and anger. and I am appalled that our culture apparently fetes and praises such examples of hollowness. I think annes physical beauty makes most people overlook her emptiness. and that of course is symptomatic of modern times.

RANDY (today): That’s why I can’t stop watching!
