The man is so powerful, THE INTERNATIONAL STOCK MARKET TREMBLES at the wave of his hand!
At the Euro 2020 press conference before Portugal’s match against Hungary this week, superstar soccer god Cristiano Ronaldo casually gestured for water instead of the Coke bottles before him… Now experts say he may have cost the soda company $4 billion in market value.
“Agua!” he exclaimed. Agua means water in Portuguese.
Coca-Cola shares swiftly dropped from $56.17 to $55.22 after Ronaldo moved the two Coke bottles out of view and picked up a bottle of water instead…
As of Thursday, Coca-Cola’s stock price was trading even lower at $55.08, bringing its total market value down by nearly $5 billion to $237.3 billion from $242 billion.
