Last night Maria Bello was explaining to Craig Ferguson that in her upcoming movie The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, she plays a woman addicted to dextroamphetamine. Craig pointed out that the band Dexy’s Midnight Runners (of “Come On, Eileen” fame) was named after that drug. “They were called Dexy’s Midnight Runners ’cause if you take Dexys, you’re going to be running at midnight,” he said. D’oh! How have I gone 28 YEARS without knowing that? (via Seriously? OMG! WTF?)
