Seems Madonna doesn’t think social distancing rules apply to her…
Her pal, photographer and filmmaker Steven Klein‘s birthday party last Saturday, where people are seen gathering in close proximity, has gotten the attention of social media.
Hundreds joined live from their homes to watch the celebration, 61-year-old Madonna hugs Klein as he thanked people.
It’s unclear whose home hosted the gathering but other videos posted on social media show performers petting horses. Both Klein and Madonna own horses.
It’s likely the party was at Klein’s Hampton’s home. A friend told me recently that Madonna was in the Hamptons a looking for a chef. One chef reportedly turned down the job because they would be cooking for some 25 people quarantined together. No, thank you.
Guests presented Klein with what Madonna calls a “COVID cake” after downtown legend Susanne Bartsch bites into it. Joey Arias, who performed, can be seen next to Bartsch.
Madonna shared her Quarantine Diaries and told fans she tested positive for antibodies,
“I took a test the other day. I found out that I have the antibodies. So tomorrow, I’m just going to go for a long drive in a car and I’m going to roll down the window, and I’m going to breathe in the COVID-19 air.”
But the CDC says that if you have the antibodies, it doesn’t not necessarily make you immune to the virus. Antibodies are proteins that help fight off infections, and the CDC advises that tests should not be used as the only way to diagnose someone as being currently sick with COVID-19.
Madonna has since deleted the video after receiving a huge backlash online.
