The year was 2010. A young Aussie lass by the name of Courtney Act (“Caught in the Act” – GET IT?) took to the stage of Ultra Suede a nobody, but came off A STAR. She was MAGNIFICENT! And the Daily Freak Show cameras were there to capture it. After her performance, we chat amiably about her big career break on Australian Idol, her singing for Lady Gaga (and then having girl talk with the Lady afterwards), and her Aussie drag kinship with Dame Edna and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Later, I have a raaaather awkward moment with porn star Brent Corrigan (his fans excoriated me online for my ignorance) and talked to others in the crowd including club impresario Luke Nero and Maddie (from our Devin Mohr Transformation).
