J. Alexander Kueng, the ex-cop who held George Floyd‘s legs as Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck for almost 9 minutes, found out he can’t just shop as if nothing had happened, and that he is now world-famous for all the wrong reasons.
The incident, which went down shortly after Keung posted bail, was captured by an eagle-eyed Cub Foods shopper. Keung said he was getting “necessities,” which in his case were Oreos, milk, and a can of whipped cream.
Keung was charged with aiding and abetting, second-degree unintentional murder and second-degree manslaughter for his role in Floyd’s death. He posted bail on his $750,000 bond.
Imagine thinking you could just waltz around as if nothing had happened, that you weren’t part of one of the most infamous events in US history! Next time have your buddy do the shopping and sit at home till your trial, pal.
