Cooper Black: Such Font Memories

Cooper Black. Never heard of it? You’ve certainly seen it. As one of THE kings of 20th century typography, from Ziggy Stardust to Payless Shoes, nothing else has cut across the pop landscape like Cooper Black. My paintings utilize type and I’ll admit I’ve used it too. Nothing does the trick quite the same. Still works for me. (via Dan Meth)
