Conspiracy Theory OTD: Supertramp’s 1979 Album Cover for “Breakfast In America” Reveals the Masons Were ALREADY Planning 9/11

By James St. James on March 8, 2016 11:00 am

Supertramp-Breakfast-in-America

Yep. TWO DECADES before 9/11 actually happened, ’70s rock group Supertramp “pre-knew” about it, and used their Breakfast In America album cover to “psychologically prepare the general population for what was to come.” Let’s examine the evidence:

  1. The album’s iconic cover features the Manhattan skyline (rendered in dishes) as seen from an airplane window.
  2. When you look at the album cover in the mirror (because OF COURSE YOU DO), the “U” and the “P” above the towers SPELL OUT 9/11
  3. The glass of orange juice is the fireball that tears through the buildings.
  4. The terror attack took place on the morning of September 11th…. aka BREAKFAST TIME IN AMERICA.
  5. The back cover has ANOTHER plane flying over the skyline.

Pretty compelling stuff, right?

There was a video that went into more depth, specifically about Supertramp financier Stanley August Miesegaes who was a Mason, but THAT VIDEO HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN  “due to a copyright claim by Evergreen Media”…. Yeah, right.

Dun dun dun. The mystery deepens.

What the video stated, though, was that apparently the Masons wanted Breakfast in America “to be the subliminal mental lubrication citizens would need two decades later to accept the tragedy of 9/11.” In other words, 9/11 would be so psychologically damaging to our national psyche, that there needed to be twenty years of clues and foreshadowing so as not to completely fall apart when it happened.

I love a really nutty conspiracy theory.

The comment section from Dangerous Minds (where I first saw this) has a plethora of like-minded nuts who expound and expand on the theory…. and it’s pretty fantastic reading. Check some of them out below.

The album was recorded at Village Recorder: “A former Masonic temple discreetly tucked away on a quiet street corner in West L.A.””Next stop was Studio B at the Village Recorder in West LA, housed within a Masonic temple and featuring a 48-channel Harrison console, as well as two Ampex 1200 24-track machines.”

Based on this evidence alone, the FBI should have been able to stop the terrorists from succeeding on 9/11.

the album cover meant nothing before 9/11, logic not sound. how could they have based anything on THIS evidence?

It is called time travel into the future,

And did this prepare the general population for 9/11? Fuck no, we were all scared shitless. The real question is why the FBI and the White House were so unprepared — they had all the pertinent info in hand.

love these sorts of conspiracy theories because they make no sense, yet some sad folks believe it. An album made in 1979 by British musicians foretold an event 22 years in the future because, what? they’re good at guessing? Or, the conspirators are so good at controlling the world that they plan something like that back in the ’70s but they still feel the need to add clues everywhere they go, no matter how goofy. The Logical Song is correct: growing up is kind of stupid.

Actually, they would have had to start planning as way back as 1970 because the name Supertramp is part of the conspiracy. According to Wikipedia…”Supertramp are an English rock band formed in 1969 under the name Daddy before renaming themselves in early 1970.” Wait a minute, they changed their name in 1970. That must be when the Masons got to them!

Unless UBL was a fan and was inspired by the album cover. Outside of Batman comics, since when do criminals leave cryptic clues all over before committing a crime?

This all makes coherent sense because some crimes are so terrible that they echo forwards and backwards through time. Truly, “Breakfast in America” was one of those kind of crimes. Previously, Supertramp released an album called “Crime of the Century.” I mean, how explicit does it have to get before people catch on? Crossover Prog is history’s worst monster.

Or… there was no conspiracy: it was just that the terrorists became deranged after listening to a Supertramp album, and decided to blow up the WTC on 9/11 as a result. In much the same way that Charles Manson was inspired by the Beatles, but the Beatles weren’t involved in any conspiracy per se. But that’s far too sensible, isn’t it? :-/

“Dreamer, you stupid little dreamer;
So now you put your head in your hands, oh no!
I said “Far out, – What a day, a year, a laugh it is!”
You know, – Well you know you had it comin’ to you,
Now there’s not a lot I can do.”
…Ominous, almost taunting in retrospect.

the explanation is simple to this one. Af course there was a plan to commit this terrorist act, and of course there was people on the secret services of the USA that knew about this, and even some of them helped planning it, but the objective of this event was to create a state of shock on a large group o people, the whole country (and even worlwide). A state o shock in wich people would be so worried about surviving that they could accept any new policy that came around, meaning a restructuration of economic, defense and external affairs. This was a big show (were a lot of people died, sadly) that was made to bring terror to the lives of american citizens and make them distracted, horrified and paranoic. No conspiracy, just regular neoliberalism trying to survive…

Now watch what you say or they’ll be calling you a radical,Liberal, fanatical, criminal.
