Yesterday, of course, was Day 2 of the Creative Arts Emmys here in Los Angeles and we’re tickled pink to announce that RuPaul’s Drag Race took home FOUR, count ’em: FOUR statuettes, including his third Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program award. That’s certainly something that makes us go WOW. Also: Our beloved Zaldy took home his SECOND Emmy for Costumes, Delta Work and Hector Pocasangre snatched their first win for snatching wigs and making everyone’s hair looks JUST SO. And then we won Outstanding Directing in a Reality Programming, so a big condragulations to Nick Murray! Check out the Insta pics below, and more pics throughout the day as we find them. Pinky promise!
The other big news of the day: The triple EGOTs of John Legend, Tim Rice, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, awarded for their work on NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert. JC Superstar. And it was a bittersweet win for Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown who won won five awards, with the late Bourdain taking home the prize for Outstanding Writing for a Non-Fiction Program.
