Comedian, actor, and Lord of the Lesbians Lea DeLaria let slip on a red carpet that she calls Dalia Gladstone her wife. When Page Six pressed about when they got married, the Orange Is the New Black star said, “No comment.”
The two have been living their best lives together and have been open about their relationship, but they remain a little cagey about any legal steps they may or may not have taken.
During the pandemic, DeLaria was part of The Lesbian Bar Project, a documentary about lesbian bar culture. All LGBTQ bars have gone through major upheaval due to dating apps, greater acceptance, and the pandemic. Lesbian bars have been his hardest. Of 200 lesbian bars in America, only about a couple dozen still remain.
She recently sat down with Marc Summers to discuss her new music and never being in the closet and “being exactly who I am.”
DeLaria added when Page Six would not let it go: “I’m just an old-school queer. I don’t think everyone has to know my business.”
