Variety is saying it’s the best trailer they’ve seen all year. I’m saying it might be the best movie we see all year. I’m sorry, but have you gone to the movies this summer? Ugh. Written by award-winning writer Aaron Sorkin and starring Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake as Facebook founders Mark Zuckerberg and Sean Parker, The Social Network, directed by David Fincher, focuses on the early years of the the super popular social networking site Facebook. Opening nationwide on October 15 and premiering at the New York Film Festival in September, the Facebook flick seems like it might be this year’s big hit. That is, of course, until a MySpace movie comes along. But our guess for that one: straight to DVD.
