The other night, Jimmy Kimmel tried his best to get Hillary Clinton to admit a run for the presidency in 2016, which would have been quite a coup. Kimmel was in a discussion with Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton at a Clinton Global Initiative conference at Arizona State University, when a student in the audience asked Clinton if she would run. Jimmy piled on asking, “That’s a very good question. It looks like you have support here. And also to add to that, when you do run for president, will you use the old Clinton campaign lawn signs?” Her response to the student was vague and Hillary tried to laugh Kimmel off, deflecting questions about having more children onto Chelsea; “I wouldn’t mind one of those grandchildren I’ve been hearing so much about.” Kimmel later said “I love that when asked the question that everyone asks you all the time, you threw your daughter right under the bus.” He may not have gotten the “Yes, I’m running.” he was looking for, but Jimmy did get this nice, Oscar-inspired selfie.
