Chris Evans has had quite a week. He accidentally leaked his own nude pic on Instagram, and he’s also promoting A Starting Point, a new politics platform, with Mark Kassen. Guess which one people want to talk about?
While appearing on the Tamron Hall Show to discuss A Starting Point, Hall pressed Evans on the black-and-white screencap. He said:
Look, it was a very interesting weekend, full of lessons learned. You know, things happen. It’s embarrassing, but you gotta roll with the punches. I will say, I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support. That was really, really nice.
Many of us are happy to offer whatever support you need in this difficult time, Chris, ideally in person.
In addition to the civic engagement project, he also shared more thoughts about the death of co-star Chadwick Boseman.
The civic engagement project is actually sorely needed right now:
A Starting Point is a video-based civic engagement platform created by Chris Evans, Mark Kassen, and technology entrepreneur Joe Kiani. ASP’s mission is to create a bipartisan channel of communication and connectivity between Americans and their elected officials with the goal of creating a more informed electorate.
Like his junk pic, this is all very impressive, and a lot of us would love to see a lot more of this kind of thing.
