This morning on NPR, I heard about this girl who has a really cute and kooky YouTube series that helps people who speak Mandarin learn English slang. Her name is Jessica Beinecke and her show is OMG Meiyu. Jessica is from Ohio and started learning to speak Mandarin Chinese only five years ago! In the videos, she explains phrases like “sweating bullets” and “muffin top” to those who may not understand them. Watch this video of her explaining about all of the types of gunk that can come from your face. Wouldn’t an X-rated version of this be BEYOND fun?
