You might have heard: Over the weekend, Lady Kitty Spencer, 30, married billionaire Michael Lewis, 62, at the Italian castle Villa Aldobrandini. The bride wore a STUNNING high-necked, pointy-shouldered, lace gown by Dolce & Gabbana — for whom she has modeled since 2017. Pictured above, I’m sure you gasped out loud when you first saw it.
Yes, she’s Princess Diana‘s niece (her father is Charles, Earl of Spencer, making her a first cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry) and yes, her husband is older than her father. Let’s just get all of that out of the way.
Most importantly, though, Kitty wore FIVE, count ’em FIVE, D&G gowns over the course of the wedding festivities.
Designer Domenico Dolce told Tatler that Spencer wanted her “main dress” to be “fairly traditional” yet “timeless,” opting for a high neckline and long sleeves.
While she was also inspired by her love of Italy, Stefano Gabbana told the outlet that the bride is “a girl who is very attached to her origins, to England; to her heritage of the great Victorian era. And like all the English people, she has a great passion for all kinds of flowers.”
Let’s take another gander at the wedding gown.
And here’s the back….
Brothers Louis and Samuel ain’t bad… More of THEM, please…
Here’s the dress she wore to the rehearsal dinner, the night before.. (Note: She’s wearing rubies which are NOTORIOUSLY bad luck. She’s practically inviting heartache and disaster… but we shall see…)
Here’s the post-wedding reception gown, which seems a bit unwieldy to greet guests and cut loose to the Chicken Dance… but what do I know?
Here’s the post-post-wedding toast outfit, which I didn’t know was a thing, but now I do and look forward to wearing my own someday… Not really a fan of this one, though….
As for that fifth outfit, it was a driving away look, and chic (of course) but not too over-the-top. I couldn’t find any Insta pics of it, but you can see it here (bottom of the page). I love the “melting snowball” hat…
