OK. The charity runs for breast cancer were a good idea. Race for Life. Nice. The rest can clear off. Bobbing along with your little plastic backpacks, clogging up the streets and parks of the country every weekend in an effort to save everything from bowels to the blind. And you can take me off the sponsorship list too. I’m no tight fisted miser, I’ve given to charity at least 11 times, and I appreciate 5km is an enormously long distance (no training again? Perhaps you could just give up half-way through and have a gentle stroll). But I’m beginning to question some of your motives. Is this about thyroids or about you? Pass me the bucket.
