No, George Takei and Clay Aiken didn’t win Celebrity Apprentice, but there are two openly gay contestants cast in the upcoming season who might be able to go all the way. Boy George and RuPaul’s Drag Race judge, Carson Kressley are among the 16 celebrities competing for $250,000 donated to the charity of their choice. On Monday, Kressley took to Twitter to say he was “exhausted” after his first day on the set.
Boy George, best known as lead vocalist for the 80s pop band Culture Club, recently was seen as a coach on the UK version of The Voice.
The rest of the contestants include retired pro boxer Laila Ali, actress-host Brooke Burke-Charvet, retired NFL player Eric Dickerson, actor Matt Iseman, VH1 host Carrie Keagan, retired WNBA player Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil, reality show stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Porsha Williams and Kyle Richards, mixed martial artist Chael Sonnen, ESPN analyst Ricky Williams and singer Carnie Wilson.
Whoever loses, they won’t get “Fired” by Donald Trump as the Republican presidential hopeful has been replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
