David Salmon was gliding into a hairpin curve on a water slide, located at a private residence in Texas, when – WHOOPS! – he accidentally FLEW over the side, falling 15 feet down a rocky cliff.

Salmon said in a Facebook post that he suffered a broken arm, fractured ribs, and multiple lacerations to his back, arms and side. Thankfully, though, he didn’t need surgery.
The video has garnered over a million views. Salmon seemed to have some sense of humor about the ordeal, sharing the video with the hashtags “#waterslide #fail #failvideo #brokenarm #notdead.”
“Too dang old to be going down water slides,” he wrote. “Fell off this one that is over a rocky cliff.”
Interestingly, Texas Republicans just recently voted to deregulate slides on private property…
