Neither Rihanna nor her boyfriend Chris Brown showed up to perform at last night’s Grammys because Rihanna had visible bruises on her face and Brown was being questioned by police for allegedly putting them there. Although no charges have been filed, an LAPD spokeswoman said, “If there is probable cause for an arrest, then he will be arrested.” Brown, 19, turned himself in last night a few hours after authorities announced he was the subject of an investigation for felony domestic battery. And in other Grammy news, Usher had to skip out on performing at the Clive Davis pre-Grammys blowout to fly to Brazil where his wife Tameka Foster had experienced unexpected serious injuries during a plastic surgery procedure.
