Kid Rock and Ted Nugent are throwing their hat into the ring for the Michigan senate, The Rock and Kanye are mulling over presidential runs, so I guess it makes sense for Caitlyn Jenner to enter politics, but oh god, it sure does make you long for the days of actual politicians who, you know, actually understand how government works.
Speaking to John Catsimatidis on his 970 AM radio show, Caitlyn admitted that she’s considering a run for the California Senate.
“The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside? Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody? Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that,” she said.
“Yeah but I would look for a senatorial run,” she continued.
Jenner went on to say her focus would be on equality and transgender rights.
“The perception of the Republican Party is that they are all about rich white guys trying to make money,” she said.
And Jenner, a rich, white, 67-year-old woman, would certainly shake shit up. (That was sarcasm).
I think I can safely speak for the majority of the LGBTQ community when I say PLEASE, NO. YOU’VE DONE ENOUGH ALREADY.
