Caitlyn Jenner’s slow-moving train wreck I Am Cait will not be renewed for a third season. Low ratings, coupled with the facts that NOBODY could relate to her – not trans viewers, not Kardashian fans, not Democrats, not Republicans, not progressive gays, NOBODY, NOBODY, NOBODY – finally did the show in.
“There just weren’t enough viewers,” a production insider reportedly told Radar. “The show can’t compete with other programming.”
The Season Two premiere in March garnered less than 750,000 viewers. Even after the show added trans advocates like Jennifer Boylan, Shandi Moore, Zachary Drucker and Candis Cayne, Caitlyn’s antidiluvian politics and willful ignorance on LGBTQ issues made the show frustrating to watch.
Meanwhile, Jenner is slated to appear on the next season of Amazon Prime’s Transparent. (via NewNowNext)
