K-pop supergroup BTS broke their own record for most YouTube views in the first 24 hours of release, racking up 113 million views for summer anthem “Butter” in just one day.
It sounds as if we can expect at least four more solo projects sometime soon. Via Billboard:
Since the three rappers of the group — RM, Suga and J-Hope — have already released solo mixtapes, the remaining vocalists know their time to shine is coming up. V has been slowly dropping hints about his upcoming solo project, from revealing there will be 13 tracks in the “BE-hind Story” teaser to explaining how the pandemic has affected the timing of its release for his Rolling Stone digital cover. While he’s trying to discover “the color of Kim Taehyung, the color of V,” Jungkook is also doing some digging ahead of his own release.
For those keeping score at home, BTS bested their record on “Dynamite,” which cracked 100 million views in the first day, on its way to passing 1 billion earlier this year.
