In an attempt to downplay an upcoming Esquire exposé which he says “will rehash false accusations and baseless lawsuits,” Bryan Singer has released an Instagram statement to his fans, saying the profile will be “fictional” and “irresponsible.” Even though he has no idea what will be in the article.
Of course, the director of The Usual Suspects, X-Men, Star Trek: Nemesis, X2, Superman Returns, X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, has been long been plagued with sexual assault allegations.
via Boy Culture:
One accuser claimed rape and then withdrew the allegations when it was proven they could not have happened where and when he claimed, and another man accused Singer of sexually assaulting him when he was 17. In 1997, he was sued for allegedly filming underage actors in a shower scene for the film Apt Pupil (1998), footage of which the boys claimed Singer showed to friends to get off. That suit was dismissed.
He is known for enjoying the company of comely young men (and has been openly bisexual for years), including rumored A-list young actors and widely followed Instagram stars. His parties are the stuff of legend, and have frequently been discussed in the rumor mill as barely-legal orgies.
Below is his statement.

ou may recall, Singer was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody in Decembert after there were complaints about his erratic behavior and unreliability on set. He denies those claims, saying he was suffering health issues related to the stress of caring for an ill parent.
