Bruno Mars Is a Mighty, Mighty Good Man

In this odd “Funny or Die” clip, Bruno Mars appears in various guises (spy! gunslinger! kung fu master!) while Salt-N-Pepa’s “What a Man” plays, and sure he’s devastatingly handsome, but something about this feels slightly icky. Like: Was it HIS idea to do this?  Was he sending up his own image as a ladies man, or trying to get us to see him that way? And isn’t it all just wee bit egotistical and self-mythologizing? Or am I reading too much into it? What do you think? (via The DW)
