YASSSS!!! One of the most anticipated Broadway shows of the season, Hello, Dolly!, is not starting previews until March 15, 2017…but, Bette Midler posted on her twitter that tickets are going on sale tomorrow (Saturday, 10am)…and I believe her…even though there has been no official announcement. This is gonna be epic! Bette Midler is playing the title role, originally written in the 60s for Ethel Merman, but made famous by Carol Channing (and Barbra Streisand in the movie version). Tony and Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce (Curtains, Frasier) will co-star as Horance Vandergelder opposite Midler’s Dolly Gallagher Levi.
