Police are investigating a rapidly developing allegation that Britney Spears got “backhanded” by security for NBA star Victor Wembanyama at ARIA in Las Vegas last night. Things apparently got physical after Spears tapped Wembanyama on the shoulder to get a pic together.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the man listed on the police report as the one who slapped Britney is Damian Smith, the Director of Team Security for the Spurs.
We’re told Vegas police brass will be meeting face-to-face with Britney this morning to discuss the incident.
Law enforcement officers who looked at the security footage said it looked as if Spears’ hand got pushed away forcefully, and she may have smacker her own face with it.
Wembanyama is a 7-foot 5-inch player for the San Antonio Spurs, and a major star in the league.
A police investigation does not necessarily mean charges will be filed.
