Channel 5 Rocks!
That guardian of decency, king of the British tabloids, The Sun , is today “outraged at bestiality telly.” One of WOWs fave broadcasters, the UKs Channel 5, is screening reality show The Farm, where celebs get down and dirty on, predictably, a farm.
It seems that Rebecca Loos, famous for allegedly getting down and dirty with David Beckham, has been helping collect pig semen and she wasnt the one holding the bucket. The Sun reports: “Five grunting, strangling, corkscrewing minutes later, Sam the pig let rip with the sort of ungodly squeak Rebecca hasnt heard since she satisfied another bore.” That bit, we loved!
Some though, were less impressed. Catherine Drye, from Dewsbury, Yorks, said, “To use so-called celebrities to carry out acts on innocent animals is sordid and disgraceful.” But we at World of Wonder think its top telly. You go, Channel 5!
Postcards from Cannes
WOW London has been in Cannes this week, joining WOW LAs ace sales girl, Sandy Piha, to help spread our unique brand of programming across the globe. The trip was a roaring success it seems that nobody else manages to get that potentially dangerous mix of the rude and the informative exactly right, and broadcasters were beating a path to the World of Wonder stand. And when they werent coming to us, we were taking it to them. Sandy is a selling machine 24/7, she was on the case. See for yourself
Its 3 AM, and Sandy Piha pitches Porno Valley to Nickelodeon Asias Syahrizan Mansor
New York Report – No Olsens. Lots of Pugs
WOW London thought a weekend in New York was in order, to find out as much as possible about the US phenomenon that is The Olsens. Despite camping outside NYU, we found no evidence of the twins. We conclude that they have been made up to boost tourism to the city.
But, we DID find a LOT of pugs – October 2nd, 2004, was New York Citys Official Pugfest . These people were truly, er, barking. But here WOW found actual, living proof that people do eventually end up looking like their pets.
Cute pug, cute girl. Can you tell them apart?
