’50s-sex-goddess-turned-animal-rights-activist Brigitte Bardot is certainly no stranger to controversy. In the last 20 years, she has been dragged for her increasingly contentious opinions about immigration, Islam, and most recently the #MeToo Movement, saying “in the vast majority of cases” it is “hypocritical, ridiculous and uninteresting.” She’s also been fined five times for inciting racial hatred, and supporting France’s far-right political party National Front.
Now, in an interview with Italian publication, Oggi, she’s stated that the COVID is a GOOD thing… since the earth’s population negatively impacts the planet and therefor the virus is a natural self-regulatory process.
In the article, she also says does not wear masks since she lives secluded from society in her mansion, La Madrague, in Saint-Tropez, surrounded by animals only. Oh, and she thinks governments should be harder with the measures taken during the pandemic and help poor nationals instead of refugees.
I guess what I’m getting at is let’s all agree to NOT post retro sex kitten pictures of her on Instagram anymore. She’s been cancelled for a while.
