Adam Johnson, the man seen all over social media carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern during the invasion of the US Capitol, has been arrested.
Pinellas County, Florida was the scene of the arrest at the request of the US Department of Justice.
He will face charges related his role in the ransacking of the Capitol. Johnson was booked into the Pinellas County jail on Friday night.
The Department of Justice has announced charges against 13 Capitol riot-related defendants, including a West Virginia lawmaker and Richard Barnett who entered House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office and sat at her desk.
