Celebs have been tweeting up a storm since the tragic shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile earlier this week, mostly showing support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement and the families of the victims. Former Moesha star Brandy joined in the fray last night, posting a photo on Instagram of a Brandy Barbie wearing a t-shirt stained with blood in the same pattern as Philando’s was.
The image is at once powerful and powerfully wtf.
On the one hand, I guess she is saying we are all Philando Castile and there but for the Grace of God go any one of us.
On the other hand… she’s using a Barbie… of herself…
I just don’t know.
