You might want to give the ABC sitcom Knights of Prosperity (formerly Let’s Rob Mick Jagger) a look. Donal Logue, of the brilliant-but-cancelled (twice) Grounded for Life, stars as a New York City janitor who can’t swing a bank loan to start his own business (a bar) and decides to get his friends together to rob Mick Jagger’s lavish Upper West Side apartment after seeing it on TV. Jagger is a Knights executive producer and will appear in some episodes. He was all over the pilot, arrogant, supercute, dressed in lamé, and enjoying himself. Here, he’s in his dining room, kicking a ball at his long-suffering valet. But it should be said that, no matter what you’ve heard, this is not Jagger’s actual residence. Despite the title and a slow-moving first episode, Knights of Prosperity , which in its heart is a really cool indie film, looks like it will soon kick into rollicking gear and wind up brilliant but cancelled.
