The kid just might have a future in show biz!
Gorgeous, seven-year-old celebutot Blue Ivy Carter has debuted at number 76 on the Billboard chart with “Brown Skin Girl,” her feature on the Lion King: The Gift album, released by her mother (Beyoncé, duh) last week. This makes her the youngest person ever to chart, according to Chart Data.
The song, featuring Wizkid and SAINt JHN, is “a love letter to Black girls around the world,” says Essence.
Since its release, the #BrownSkinGirlChallenge has gone viral as Black girls and women worldwide are claiming their worth through the song’s lyrics.
“Brown skin girl/ your skin just like pearls/ the best thing in the world / I’d never trade you for anybody else,” Beyonce sings on the chorus.

This is not Blue Ivy’s first time on the charts.
She was just a few days old in 2012 when she was credited as an artist on her father Jay-Z’s track “Glory,” a move that made her the youngest artist in history to ever enter the Billboard charts. She can be heard crying at the end of the heartwarming song.
“Glory” ended up entering the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart at number 74
