Pandora Boxx tells the Huffington Post that Psycho the Musical could be heading to 0ff-Broadway soon, and she has some advice for the RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 queens.
RuPaul’s Drag Race season 2’s Miss Congeniality Pandora Boxx recently chatted with the Huffington Post‘s Pollo Del Mar on her podcast Party Foul Radio with Pollo & Pearl about Psycho the Musical that Pandora and fellow Drag Racer Kelly Mantle performed in at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood in October 2016. She said:
It was kind of crazy with people’s schedules. Rehearsal schedules were kind of tight, but it turned out really great. It sold out, and people seemed to really love it.
Pyscho the Musical will have a three night engagement March 2-4 in San Francisco at Heklina’s Oasis, then after that may move off-Broadway in New York City! Pandora will be playing Lila Crane in the show this time as opposed to a cameo role she had in Los Angeles. She said:
I’m really excited to play Lila, because it’s a fun character. I’m a little ditzy, a little slutty, just kind of having fun with it. It’s meant to be fun; it’s meant to be campy and funny. Even if you don’t know Psycho or the movie that well, people will still like it. I don’t know the movie completely, from start to finish, but it’s funny to me. I get all the references.
