Us members of the BeyHive have been on quite an emotional roller coaster lately. It all started last week when Beyoncé‘s iTunes page showed that 13 new unlisted videos were added—presumably meaning a new album could drop at any moment. It was a serious moment of panic. However, nothing happened.
Then, on a very hyped countdown, ELLE Magazine’s Instagram page started posting picture after picture of the Queen Bey leading towards the debut of a promo video for her Ivy Park athletic fashion line. The Ivy Park website was launched as well.
The video (below) shows Beyoncé modeling various pieces from the collection—sports bras, leggings, shorts, swimsuits—while describing her relationship with “that park,” where she goes to mentally and physically prepare for the big moments in her life like stepping on stage and giving birth. (Yes, the video is truly doing the most. Like, it’s the literal meaning of extra. BUT, we love it—and have never felt such a strong urge to get to the gym after seeing Beyoncé doing snippets of various workouts.)
IVY PARK IS MERGING FASHION-LED DESIGN WITH TECHNICAL INNOVATION. CREATING A NEW KIND OF PERFORMANCE WEAR: MODERN ESSENTIALS FOR BOTH ON AND OFF THE FIELD.
