The students at Avon High School in Avon, Indiana, posted a 7-minute, no-cuts video to YouTube that will blow your mind. Seemingly every student, from the dweebs to the jocks to the band members and theater geeks, are all united in peace and social harmony to lipsync a mashup of 68 (!!!) songs from the last four years to raise money for the Riley Children’s Hospital (you can donate here). Could this really be the first high school in the history of high schools where all the students magically get along and break into spontaneous song-and-dance numbers à la Glee? I hope so. Make sure to watch it all the way to the end when they arrive at the gym. Goosebumps, I tell you. Can I go back in time and go to this school, please? (via Jezebel)
I got teary when I saw the rainbow posters for the Gay/Straight Alliance and the boy in the rainbow tutu. What a wonderful world we live in.
And check out the list of songs they used in the mashup on YouTube.
