Baby-related photos of Brad and Angelina are so hot that shots taken at a baby shower in Namibia have been stolen and lawyers are on the case. Meanwhile, Tom and Katie wish pictures of their new child were as in demand. While Brangelina’s Shiloh, Gwen’s Kingston, and Brooke Shields’ Grier have all had their gummy mugs on magazine covers, nobody’s bidding high enough for little Suri. Shiloh shots went to People for $4 million, but TomKat couldn’t get an offer higher than $3 million for their at-one-time hotly anticipated spawn. The disappointed couple took the photos off the market. And obviously not because they need the money, but because it would have been humiliating to be known as having the cheaper model. (Aren’t new parents supposed to be so proud of the baby that they carry pictures with them to show everyone?) And the older these babies get, the less the tabloids will cough up for photos. Which is particularly stupid, since as babies get older you can actually tell them apart. An expert in this field told the NY Post‘s Roger Friedman, “Shiloh was the whole deal. We won’t see a baby like that again for a while.” That’s just rude.
