OK, this looks absolutely TERRIFYING. A little boy finds a book about a monster called the Babadook, and then he and his mother… well, just watch. It was one of the most buzzed-about movies at Sundance this year, but has yet to get a US release date. Hopefully, if the buzz continues we’ll get to see it soon. The movie marks the directorial debut for Jennifer Kent who received funding from Kickstarter to make the film and stars Essie Davis (Baz Luhrmann’s Australia) and first-time actor Noah Wiseman, who was six years old when the film started shooting.
