News from back home in New Zealand… The sheep are rioting!
New Zealand’s fluffier version of Spain’s infamous “Running of the Bulls” descended into farcical chaos this weekend.
Each year, the sleepy country town of Te Kuiti is transformed into a whirlwing of wool as 1,500 sheep are let loose to rampage down the town’s main road. This year around 7000 spectators turned up to see the spectacle without any idea that the sheep were planning something a tad more sinister.
The sheep vaulted a barrier meant to protect the public and set about turning the town to chaos before running into nearby hills and escaping to freedom.
They even hospitalized an old lady.
Sheep are bastards.
