Presale suggests that Avatar 2 would open in China with over $100 million, but a growing COVID outbreak in Beijing might dampen those returns.
Honestly, this is exactly the kind of movie people will go to the theater to experience, after nearly 3 years… a visual spectacle in IMAX, 3D or 4D.
