A woman claimed she was attacked by a “Yowie” (or Australian BigFoot) while “taking a wee” on a dark country road at the Mr Jerusalem National Park in Nimbin, New South Wales.
via The Daily Mail:
‘It was after cricket training around 6.30pm and I was driving along a dirt road and went over a cow crossing before I pulled over to an area that was bulldozed and the trees were pushed down on the side of the road to do a wee,’ the woman wrote.
‘I finished my wee when I heard something around me and wasn’t sure what it was.’
She began howling to see if it was a wild animal. The animal howled back. She continued howling until she ‘got a growl and a grunting’ from the creature.
The woman pulled out her cricket back ready to take on whatever was hiding in the bush, thinking it was just some ‘smartass playing a joke on me’.
‘It knocked twice, so I knocked back twice. I knocked again, and it did the same back. I thought stuff this and did a howl and a scream – that’s when everything went pear shaped.
‘I heard thumping coming down the hill…I’ve never heard anything that heavy before, it was like the ground was moving underneath me.’
She quickly jumped back into her car and turned on the headlights. Lo and behold, the creature was standing RIGHT THERE in front of her car.
‘It was 6 to 7ft tall and full of hair – about 5 inches long – and it had hair down its cleavage and hair around and on top of its breasts. Its eyes the size of golf balls and its hands were huge reaching the knees.
‘It was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen.’
Flashing the car’s headlights on the beast, the woman noticed that it had ‘reddish-blue eyes’. It also had a beard and hair over its top lip, she says
‘It had a big mouth on it…this mouth was 5 to 7 inches long’.
The creature remained in front of the car swaying side-to-side before it ran away before the woman was able to capture a photo.
Strangely, the Daily Mail article does NOT contain the picture she supposedly took.
