Who doesn’t love a kicky clog? The De Klompen Show organized by Wieden + Kennedy, a Portland based ad agency with an office in Amsterdam, is a public exhibition of uniquely designed clogs made by a variety of different artists. Wooden clogs are sold throughout the Netherlands mostly as souvenirs although a few people still wear them for everyday use, particularly farmers and gardeners. The clogs were auctioned off earlier this month, with the proceeds going to Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that provides shoes and clothing for people in need. Soles4Souls has distributed 30 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries around the world. I bet you could rock these shoes!
