Trump supporter and conservative radio talk show host, James “Doc” Green, Sr. was detained by Houston police after reportedly violating a no-trespassing order. He was trying to protest Drag Queen Storytime at Freed-Montrose Library after being banned for recording children without permission.
Jodi Silva, a spokesperson for the Houston Police Department, said that Greene entered the library about 15 minutes before the children’s program was scheduled to start and when he refused to leave, a library manager called the police.
Greene posted about the incident, asking police in the video,
“How am I trespassing?I want to see the law. How many cops does it take to tell me what the law is?”
An officer answers,
“You were given a trespassing warning. They have requested you to not be on the property anymore.”
An officer shows him an affidavit stating that he was banned from the library last month, and why.
“We have a bunch of homosexuals that are molesting children. They are doing it with your help.”
Police confiscated a concealed weapon on Greene after removing him and putting him into a police car. Then Green said that he was having chest pains, and her was brought to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
So far, the district attorney is not pressing charges.
Greene hosts a conservative radio talk show for Raging Elephants Radio. In a broadcast about the incident, he says he was at the hospital for six hours, and that police still had his weapon.
He posted a video of the incident on his YouTube channel called,
“Arrested for being a Christian”
Drag Queen Storytime is a monthly event at the library. In February, police officers will be present.
