Apple made this video to celebrate Pride 2014. The official description for it is;
“On June 29, thousands of Apple employees and their families marched in the San Francisco Pride Parade. They came from around the world — from cities as far as Munich, Paris, and Hong Kong — to celebrate Apple’s unwavering commitment to equality and diversity. Because we believe that inclusion inspires innovation.”
It doesn’t mention is that it’s the first time that Apple has made an official appearance at San Francisco Pride but openly gay Apple CEO, Tim Cook, is featured, laughing with a friend and taking a picture with his iPhone. This kind of support sends a positive message to both consumers and other businesses. I, for one, been a Mac guy for going on 25 years and I’m happy with their products and to contribute a corporate culture (minus the iPhone slave-labor) that celebrates diversity and inclusion in the LGBTQ community.
