After tallying more than 27,000 votes, The Humane Society of the United States has announced the winner of its Chimpanzee Art Contest. It’s Brent, 37, who has lived at Chimp Haven in Keithville, Louisiana, for seven years and – as if it’s not enough that he’s a chimp – he paints with his tongue. Chimp Haven will receive the First Place prize, a $10,000 grant. This work and the other winners art will be auctioned on eBay soon with the proceeds to benefit the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance. Click here to see the rest of the winners.
